TNews, HALTENG<\/strong> – Pemerintah Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah bakal menambah traffic light pada beberapa titik di Kota Weda, Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah (Halteng) tahun ini.<\/p>\n

Demikian diungkapkan oleh Kepala Dinas Perhubungan (Kadishub), Masita Rahim Kapitanhitu, saat dihubungi pelaku media, pada Jum’at, (18\/1\/24).<\/p>\n

Ia mengatakan, di tahun sebelumnya pihaknya telah memasang beberapa unit traffic light ditempatkan di depan Plaza, di 2024, pihaknya akan menambah lagi jumlah lampu lalu lintas sebanyak 2 unit kedepan. “Traffic light di depan Plaza telah diaktifkan, sudah mulai berfungsi,”Katanya<\/p>\n

Selain traffic light ditambah, kata dia, adapula juga rambu lalu lintas sebanyak 64 titik sekarang ini tengah di kejarkan oleh pihaknya, kini progres pekerjaannya hampir rampung. “Ada 64 titik sementara mereka kerjakan, sudah mau selesai tinggal 4 titik atau 5 titik saja “Ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Ia menyebutkan, angggaran nanti digelontorkan untuk biayai sejumlah pekerjaan tersebut nilainya diperkirakan mencapai Rp. 1 Milyar. “Jadi total seluruhnya dari traffic light, bahu jalan, ditambah Zebra cross mencapai 1 milyar, ” Ungkapnya.<\/p>\n

Ia bilang, alasan dirinya lantas memperbanyak marka jalan tujuannya untuk memperkecil potensi kecelakaan yang terjadi di Kota Weda.<\/p>\n

Pasalnya, Ia mengaku kerapkali menyaksikan kecelakaan lalu lintas disitu dan perempatan itu kedapatan sering diterobos pengendara dari arah jembatan besi, padahal kata dia, tidak diperbolehkan seperti itu. ” Sudah beberapa kali orang jatuh disitu, “Pungkas.<\/p>\n

Maka itu, ia pun meminta pada seluruh pengguna kendaraan roda dua maupun roda empat, agar taat terhadap rambu-rambu lalu lintas, sehingga pengendara terhindar dari kecelakaan.<\/p>\n
